關於組裝困難度(Assembly Complexity)與不良率的關係﹐可以由下圖來看﹐其橫軸為DFA的組裝複雜度指標Man-Assembly Efficiency(組裝效率)﹐縱軸則為組裝後之單位產品缺點數﹐由此可見當組裝複雜度下降時﹐單位產品缺點數也跟著降地﹐至於兩者間的切確數學關係式則無關宏旨﹐我們按下不表。

 

 

我們在此可以談談所謂組裝複雜度的評估方法﹐學界曾經提出許多方法﹐但是最簡單有效的方法﹐仍是以組裝所需之時間來衡量﹐這裡所謂的組裝效率﹐其實是將估計的組裝時間與理想值作比對﹐(請參考Assembly Efficiency中所作的說明)﹐當組裝時間與理想值差異過大時﹐我們認定其複雜度過高﹐此一方法在定量上有其誤差﹐但是在定性的分析上﹐給予產品設計者很好的指標。
